We were looking for a quick getaway and decided on some hiking at Starved Rock state park. We found the bunkies and thought it looked like a fun idea but I greatly underestimated what to expect. The accommodations were delightful and the entire community could not have been nicer. We ended up spending more time at the resort than we had planned because we enjoyed it so much. Everyone was friendly from residents to staff. Everything was well kept and I haven’t stopped telling friends and family about it since we arrived. Can’t wait to come back (and maybe look at purchasing a property!)

Our stay at The Heritage Harbor Inn Bunkies was wonderful. The staff was accommodating when we had a late change of plans and couldn’t check in until very late. Without some previous Google Maps study of the property, the unit may have been had to find. The parking was a little walk but not too bad and there are many carts around that we could have used. Inside the unit, everything was comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice accommodations. Cleaning fee high for one night especially when you have to trek to remove your trash before you leave. Daily price high for square footage of facility compared to others.

The tiny home was very cute, clean (for the most part), bathroom was nice, tiny kitchen was nice to have, bed was comfortable, and having the tv was /tv were in good condition. It was a nice place to stay in is you're visiting Starved Rock. Only have 3 complaints, the king side bed made it hard to access the ladder and the other side of the bed, wine glasses provided were dirty, parking space was a walk from the home. Overall a nice stay.
