Designed with a nautical-inspired, Americana style, River Shores Cottage brings the calm of the water indoors. From mornings on the screened-in porch to evenings gathered on the patio, every space is thoughtfully created for your comfort.

Main Level:
Begin your stay on the screened-in porch, the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and peaceful views. Inside, the open-concept living and kitchen area invites you to gather and unwind. The fully stocked kitchen features modern amenities—including a high-end convection oven—and sliding doors open to a spacious side patio with dining space and a gas grill, ideal for al fresco meals. A half bathroom and laundry area complete the main floor.

As locals, we’re happy to share our favorite spots—from riverside adventures to dining and shopping in downtown Ottawa.

House Rules:
• Quiet Hours: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
• No parties, events, or tents
• No smoking anywhere on the property ($500 fine)
• No pets allowed to maintain cleanliness for all guests ($300 fine for non-compliance)

Heritage Harbor and the surrounding Starved Rock Country offer endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. Go boating, kayaking, or paddleboarding, explore scenic trails, or spend an afternoon zip lining, skydiving, or glass blowing.
