Interaction with Guests:
Our Harbor Inn team is on-site daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to help with activity recommendations, dining reservations, or anything else you may need during your stay.

House Rules:
• Quiet Hours: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
• No parties, events, or tents
• No smoking anywhere on the property ($500 fine for non-compliance)
• No pets allowed to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness ($300 fine for non-compliance)

Our family had such a great time staying at Serenity Now. The home had the perfect set up for a family and had everything we could need! Being right on the river gave us the most beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset. Everything is walkable from the home- the pools, restaurant, marina, and beach area. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and can’t wait to come back again.

This is our third time staying at Harbor Inn, and the second at this particular house. As I stated above it was very relaxing and quiet. My Wife and I liked sitting by the river and watching the boats go by. One particular time, right above us was a turkey vulture on a branch looking down at us. As we were not dead I knew he was not looking at us for dinner. Then another one showed up and sat with the first one, maybe his buddy or mate I am not sure. It was just fun watching this, and we slept so well as its so quiet. I especially liked the Starved Rock, Utica, as well as Ottawa, as to the stores, antique shops, restaurants and the like. Lots of things to do, and towns to visit, and we were very busy. We will be back.Edwin and Carol Duracka

Our visit was great, and we will be back, one issue I have is this. You gave us a 3 page rule sheets as to how we should conduct ourselves, I totally agree with your rules. I spent over a half hour reading these rules. I have had a two knee replacement operation recently. I was really pleased with the dedicated parking spot, as I am still recovering, I cannot walk very far, and stand too long. My Wife and I returned from a visit to Ottawa, and when I went to park, a vehicle was in our spot. I couldn't believe what I saw, I thought after all the rules you have there, who was the ignorant person who cannot read. I was ready to call the Police and have this vehicle towed. My Wife has more patience than I do, she said call the Harbor office and explain the situation. So I did and found out it was one of your house keeping people cleaning another building, parking there. I admit you guys immediately took care of the situation, she moved her car, and you guys even came out right away to take care of things. That impressed me, and I realize you have the guests back. I would suggest in the future have your workers read a three sheet rules, so they know how to act. Then give them a quiz, so this will not happen again. I am a 50 year retired aircraft mechanic, and had many quizzes I have taken over the years, I would have to pass 100 % of the tests. I guess I am a little strict, one of the reasons I go to your resort is to continue unwind from my career over all those years. My Wife tells me I have to unwind, and that's why we go to your resort. The problem I had multi, multi million dollar aircraft I worked on and some very well known peoples lives in my hands. So understand where I come from.
