Overlooking the harbor, this cozy retreat blends comfort and tranquility, making it the perfect escape for couples or small families. With one bedroom and a loft, the home comfortably sleeps up to four guests. Interaction with Guests:
Our Harbor Inn team is available daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to assist with recommendations, activity planning, or any needs that may arise during your stay.

House Rules:
• Quiet Hours: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m. (take the fun to downtown Ottawa for live music & nightlife!)
• No parties, events, or tents
• No smoking anywhere on the property ($500 fine for non-compliance)
• One pet maximum (75 lb. limit, $125 non-refundable fee). Pets must be leashed in the community and kenneled if left unattended. ($300 fine for non-compliance)

As part of Heritage Harbor, you’ll enjoy access to on-site amenities like swimming, biking trails, and dining, plus the option to rent pontoons, Hobie boards, or bikes to explore the river and surrounding trails. We very much enjoyed our long weekend. The home was well stocked and clean. I would caution anyone with young kids, the stairs to the loft where the bunk beds are located are very steep and would not be safe for young children to go up and down. Finding the main bedroom has a king bed (it was listed as a queen) was a very nice surprise!We loved everything Heritage Harbor had to offer. We took many walks, visited the dog park and met some of the locals and their humans, rented a pontoon and cruised the river. We can't wait to come back and spend more time!

Our cottage was perfectly located, so cute, and we loved the busyness of the neighborhood. Watching the boats come and go from the marina was so much fun to watch from our deck. We also loved the live music from the marina bar and restaurant in the evening. The home was beautifully outfitted and was perfect for what we needed. We did have a few things that were broken in the home upon our arrival, in particular a wall sconce, door handle, and the biggest inconvenience was the dryer being broken. We didn't realize this until our last day when we tried to do a load of laundry. The washer was fine, but the dryer would not function, and we kept hearing an error warning. We ended up trying to dry the entire load on our deck, and by the time we checked out, our clothes had not fully dried, so we went home with a suitcase of damp clothing. We did mention these deficits to the Harbor Inn staff. All in all, we would stay at Harbor Inn again the next time we are in Ottawa.

We had a great stay. So relaxing. We rented a pontoon boat, enjoyed the pool, hiking on the I & M canal. We will come back. The welcome center ladies were so nice and answered all of our questions. The staff at the Marina were great. Loved our vacation.

We loved our stay at this sweet cottage. We especially enjoyed walking the paths and having coffee on the balcony. The cottage was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, and it was super clean! There were many unique restaurants in nearby Ottawa, as well as hiking opportunities in neighboring communities. It's truly a gem and near so many unique towns that you'll want to explore. After all that exploring, you'll want to come back to a tranquil place to rest, and the Harbor Inn is the place to do it. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and enjoy a vacation rental during a different season. The only negative was there were still fall decorations up in our rental in the middle of March. We've shared our wonderful experience with many friends, and they can't wait to experience the Harbor Inn themselves. It was definitely a hard place to leave after such a wonderful stay.
